Edible Extravaganza Fundraiser Goes Virtual
edible logo

Eat, Drink and Do Good from the comfort of your own home. This year, Edible Extravaganza looks a lot different, but the essence of this 34-yearlong fundraiser for Center for Human Services (CHS) remains the same.

Edible Extravaganza has been a successful fundraiser largely in part to the generous vendors that participate each year. Those same vendors are struggling right now and CHS is enlisting in the community’s efforts to give back. You can provide support by purchasing an Edible Extravaganza Coupon Book with coupons and discounts to all your favorite Edible Extravaganza Vendors so you can Eat, Drink and Do Good. Your purchase of a coupon book directly supports the children and families CHS serves and your local restaurant community.

A VIP purchase of the coupon book will also include an Edible in a Box delivery to your house the week of the event, which will contain ingredients for a tasty and unique charcuterie experience by Greens on Tenth.

This virtual fundraising event will take place the week of Sept. 7 with plenty of fun videos and activities. The event will conclude on Thursday, Sept. 10 with extra special activities, including a chance at a much-needed vacation in 2021. Details on purchasing coupon books and other activities will be announced soon.

CHS officials offered their thanks to underwriting sponsors Save Mart Supermarkets and iHeart Media for their continued support of this fundraiser.

As always, Edible Extravaganza is presented by Center for Human Services, a private, local, non-profit agency, celebrating 50 years of service to Central Valley youth and families. Programs operated by Center for Human Services (CHS) include: shelter programs for homeless or in-crisis youth and young adults - Hutton House and Pathways, Family Resource Centers, Community Counseling Services, Student Assistance Program and more.
