SAN FRANCISCO – It might not be as new as it once was.

But for a San Francisco Giants fan, AT&T Park is hallowed ground.

Since the Giants moved into the waterfront ballpark – which completely overhauled a portion of the city that had been neglected for decades – 16 years ago they have been to the World Series four times and won three of them.

But as great as the baseball may be in their relatively new digs, it’s the park itself that serves as a major attraction for fans that come to enjoy their baseball and all of the things that come with it.

In a nutshell – it’s representative of San Francisco.

With sweeping views of the Bay Bridge from the outfield and the high-rise building of the Financial District peeking above the main stands, the park has become not only a place for sports fans, but food fans as well. The Giants were one of the first – if not the first – to showcase gourmet food in addition to ballpark staples.

The unveiling of The Garden – a health-conscious restaurant that serves farm fresh local produce cooked up through a variety of amazing recipes – further refined the existing dining options inside of a park that offers a variety of ethnic foods in addition to lamb burgers, gourmet sliders, garlic fries, wine and a wide variety of micro brewed beers.

The baseball is pretty good there too.
