RIPON LIONS CLUB ALMOND BLOSSOM FESTIVAL SPAGHETTI DINNER & RAFFLE: Ripon Lions Club dinner is a fund raiser for many community charities. It takes place Thursday, Feb. 25, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. “All you can eat & drink” spaghetti dinner also includes salad and beverages: wine, lemonade, water & milk at the Ripon Community Center, 334 Fourth Street, Ripon. Advance tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children, 12 and under, or purchased at door, $14 and $6. Meals are also available for takeout. Purchase advance tickets at the following locations: 1048 W. ALMOND BLOSSOM PANCAKE BREAKFAST: Ripon Grange is staging the 54th annual Almond Blossom Breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 10 a.m. at the Grange Hall, 827 Ripona Ave., Ripon. Tickets are $7 in advance or $8 at the door. Children 10 years and under are $5. ALMOND BLOSSOM RUN: The 34th annual Almond Blossom is Saturday, Feb. 27, starting from Stouffer Park featuring a 1-mile and 8K Run. The entry fee if you would like to run both races the fee is $30 for those 11 and older and $20 for those 10 and under. The entry fee for one race — either the mile or 8K is $15 for those 10 and under and $25 for those 11 and older. A continental breakfast is served at the end of the race. Registration on race day is 7 to 8 a.m. The mile race starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 8K race at 9 a.m. Medals are awarded three deep in each division, gender, and race. LEGION ALMOND BLOSSOM BURRITO BREAKFAST: The Ripon American Legion Post 190 Ladies Auxiliary fourth annual Almond Blossom Burrito Breakfast is Saturday, Feb. 27, from 7 a.m. to noon at the Legion post home, 206 Stockton Ave. The cost is $6 each or two for $10.

VFW ALMOND BLOSSOM BREAKFAST: Ripon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1051’s annual Almond Blossom Breakfast is Sunday, Feb. 28, from 8 a.m. to noon. The buffet breakfast includes eggs, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, bacon, ham, biscuits and gravy and more. The cost is $9 per person while those under 12 eat free.
