James Rafferty and April Jeannine Lang have announced their plans to wed in mid June.

The couple has planned a June 12, 2010 wedding to be hosted in the Virgin Islands in Saint Thomas.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike and Diane Lang. Her siblings are Quinton Terra and Jonathan, Dan, David and Bryan Lang. She is a graduate of Oak Grove High School in San Jose. She also attended De Anza Jr. College and Modesto Junior College where she completed her General Studies, as well as Animal Science classes. She attended Abrams College in Modesto, studying as an Emergency Medical Technician and Phlebotomy certification. In 2008 she attended National University West Med College in Merced, specializing emergency medicine as a Paramedic. She is currently employed as an EMT with Manteca District Ambulance.

The prospective groom is the son of Don and Julia Rafferty. His siblings are Wynona Schlott, Amy Strauther and Don, Jeff, Karl, Gordon, Marcus and Priscilla Rafferty. He is a graduate of Sonora High School and attended Paramedic School at California State University, Stanislaus. He is currently employed with Cal Fire as a Crew Captain in Mendocino County.
