Corporal Peter C. Simoncini, Jr., United States Marine Corps and Jennifer Emilie Harbert, both of Oakdale, have announced plans to marry on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club. The two are both 2007 graduates of Oakdale High School.
The bride-to-be is presently employed at Raley’s Supermarket in Oakdale and the prospective groom is a United States Marine, currently assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. In July he returned from a seven-month tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Jennifer is the daughter of James and Carolyn Harbert of Oakdale and Peter is the son of Becky and Pete Simoncini, also of Oakdale.
