Garrett Lucchesi and Shelby Rodriguez have announced their plans to unite as husband and wife.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Elly and Mike Rampoldi. Her older sister is Lacee King. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach in 2007. She earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Following her graduation she worked for NBC News in Los Angeles and was nominated for an Emmy in the summer of 2009 for a children’s show she produced for NBC. She is currently producing a show for MTV and living in Los Angeles.

The prospective groom is the son of Mark and Kathy Lucchesi. His siblings are Courtney Lucchesi and Cameron Lucchesi. He is also a graduate of California State University, Long Beach and earned his degree in Business. He is currently a Financial Planner for New England Financial in the Bay Area, where he also lives.

The couple began dating four years ago while both were living in Orange County and the future bridegroom proposed this past May, on the beach at sunset in Newport. They have made plans to wed in an evening ceremony at the River Mill on June 17, 2011.
