Joshua Scott Lancaster and Jennifer Lynn Wallen have announced their plans to unite as husband and wife.

The couple announced their engagement following a trip to Redondo Beach in November of 2008. The future bridegroom proposed on a gondola ride at sunset on Nov. 1, 2008. They have set a wedding date of Oct. 10, 2009 in Oakdale.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gary and Carrie Wallen of Waterford. Her siblings are Leanne Cadwell, Amanda Jordan and Gary Wallen Jr. She is a 1999 graduate of Riverbank High School. She has an Associate of Arts degree in General Education from Modesto Junior College. She is currently employed as a Bookkeeper Auditor for SaveMart Supermarkets.

The prospective groom is the son of Cliff and Vivian Regello of Ceres. His siblings are Jason Regello, Michael Regello and Keith Lancaster. He is a 1998 graduate of Riverbank High School. He is employed as a parts salesman for Bonander Truck in Turlock.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Italy and make their home in Modesto.
