An eight pound, 10 ounce boy, Luis Martinez-Baez, was born on June 6, 2013 at Oak Valley Hospital to expectant parents Maria de los Angeles Baez and Javier Martinez of Oakdale. Welcoming home the new baby were siblings Edwin and Jonathan.

Maternal grandparents are Luiz Baez and M. Dolores Piceno of Mexico.

Paternal grandparents are Javier Martines and Margarita Suarez of Mexico.
