A boy, Jimmy David McDowell, was born on Feb. 4, 2011 to expectant parents Jimmy and Lindsey McDowell of Escalon. The newborn weighed nine pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.

The mother is the former Lindsey Bailey.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older brothers Ian, Drew, Cole, Conner and big sister Kaitlyn.

Larry and Sherry Bailey of Modesto are the maternal grandparents.

Dave and Genise Perruquet and Jim McDowell, all of Escalon, are the paternal grandparents.
