Charles A. Garduno and Anjelica R. Frear of Oakdale welcomed the arrival of their son Giovanni Alias Garduno on Jan. 23, 2011. The newborn weighed seven pounds, nine ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Alexxis and Alyssa Frear.

Reynaldo and Mary Dominguez are the maternal grandparents.

Charles F. Garduno of Modesto and Patricia Luper of Colfax are paternal grandparents.
