Expectant parents, Brian and Katherine Sweat of Oakdale, welcomed the arrival of their baby boy, Evan Michael Takashi Sweat, on Feb. 14, 2011. The newborn weighed seven pounds, 15 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
The mother is the former Katherine Pier.
