A boy, Dallin Joseph Loosli, was born November 12, 2009 to expectant parents Kyle and Melissa Loosli of Oakdale. The newborn weighed seven pounds, six ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Melissa Sparrow.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Zarin, Natalia and Analee.

Dennis and Mary Sparrow of Colorado Springs, Colorado are the maternal grandparents.

Greg and Joy Loosli of Provo, Utah are paternal grandparents.
