A boy, Bentlei Joseph Saso-Shatswell, was born Sept 1, 2010 to expectant parents Justin Shatswell and Brittanie Saso of Oakdale. The newborn weighed seven pounds, one ounce upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home was sister Hayden Shatswell.

Robert Saso of Modesto and Cary Gray of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.

Rocky Shatswell of Oklahoma and Samantha Shatswell of Oakdale are the paternal grandparents.
