Luis Enrique and Marisol Melchor of Oakdale welcomed the arrival of their daughter, April Rain Uvina-Melchor, on April 23, 2010. The newborn weighed six pounds, six ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Antonia and Izael Uvina-Melchor.

Santiago and Maria Uvina of Escalon are the maternal grandparents.

Miguel and Silvia Melchor of Mexico are paternal grandparents.
