	Valley Home News for May 2, 2012 We couldn’t ask for a nicer day weather-wise than what we enjoyed on Saturday afternoon when volunteers gathered at the Valley Home Community Park for a tree planting. Bud Ferreila drove his truck carrying a power auger and parked next to our Community Park, then went to work digging a spot for the planting of the Colorado Blue Spruce which is now the official Valley Home Community Christmas Tree. 	Valley Home News for April 25, 2012 Valley Home residents were saddened to receive word that long time resident of our community, John De Boer passed away on April 13, 2012. John was very active in our community and farm organizations and was the recipient of many awards for his services. He had a long time involvement with the Farm Bureau.
