Edward A. ‘Fast Eddy’ Forbes

Edward A. ‘Fast Eddy’ Forbes, 63, died in his sleep on Thursday, Nov. 8 from a blood clot.

He grew up in Oakdale and lived in Oakdale for the past 20 years.

Mr. Forbes was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a gentle, sentimental, loving father who loved his children greatly. He loved to put smiles on children’s faces. He could be found any day of the week walking the streets of Oakdale making friends along the way.

His friends are invited to join his family for a small gathering to celebrate his life from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24 at the Best Western, Oakdale.
