Natalie Louise Hahn passed away suddenly on October 21, 2017, at the age of 85. She was born and raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts to Walter and Agnes Thurston. She married as a young woman and moved to the Los Angeles area, then Modesto, and then on to Oakdale in 1975. In that same year she married Leroy (Bud) Hahn. They were happily married one month short of 42 years.
Natalie worked as a bookkeeper for most of her life until she retired in 1995. She enjoyed gardening, playing games, quilting and knitting. She was active in yoga and walking with her friends until a stroke limited her mobility in 2009. She loved the Giants and 49ers.
Natalie is survived by her husband Bud; sister, Alice Brennan; niece, Katie Pavalasky; eight children, Susan, Annie, Steve, Mark, and Ken – all Macys; Jay, Lynn and Mike – all Hahns; as well as, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will have a ceremony for her friends and relatives in the near future. Please contact Bud Hahn for information.
