David Eugene ‘Moose,’ ‘Raul’ Hedden

David Eugene ‘Moose,’ ‘Raul’ Hedden, 64, of Waterford died Monday, May 26 with his family by his side in Modesto.

He was born in Oakdale. He grew up in Illinois and Oakdale, graduating from Oakdale High School in 1969.

Mr. Hedden was employed at Hershey’s Chocolate plant for 27 years as a security guard.

He will be best remembered as a marble shooter champion, mischief maker, bear hug giver, and for his quick smiles.

He is survived by his sisters, Patsy, Sheryl, Terrie, Wanda, and Cindy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Leona Hedden; sisters, Connie and Lisa; and his nephew, Ricky.

A service will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, June 30 at River Oak Grace Church, 7712 Rodden Road, Oakdale.
