Ronald Edward ‘Ron’ Price

Ronald Edward ‘Ron’ Price, 80, died Wednesday, Oct. 16 of complications from heart surgery in Wenatchee, Wash.

He was born in Pilot Point, Texas. He moved to Oakdale in 1946.

Mr. Price was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a building contractor. He belonged to River Oak Grace Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Anne Price; children, Mike (Jennifer) Price of Brewster, Wash., Robin (Mike) Miller of Oakdale, Joe Mendonsa of Oakdale, and Jim (Lorrie) Mendonsa of Hughson; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Norma Price; and sisters, Haskelene Alpers and Susan Price.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at River Oak Grace Church, Oakdale. Private burial will take place on Nov. 8 at San Joaquin National Cemetery.
