Dorothy Lajeunesse

Dorothy Lajeunesse, 89, died Wednesday, Feb. 13 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House after a battle with cancer.

She was born in Santa Rosa, the daughter of John and Helen Irwin. She grew up in Oakland and graduated from Oakland Technical High School.

In 1990, she moved to Oakdale to be closer to her family after retiring from Brockway Glass Credit Union.

Survivors include her daughter, Suzette (Danny) Titus; grandsons, John (Melissa) Titus, Jeff (Karen) Titus; and four great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Holden, James and Eli, all of Oakdale.

Services were held Feb. 19 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Oakdale, with burial at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Modesto.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Alexander Cohen Hospice House, c/o Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356.
