Community Programs

Saturday, April 15th - ANNUAL KIDS SPRING FEST 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Join the fun at this annual event which includes egg hunt, games, DJ, face painting, free hot dogs. Co-sponsored with Kiwanis Club of Oakdale. Location: Kerr Park end of North Stearns Road.

 

Monday, April 17th - Swim Lesson Registration begins. Visit our city web site for swim lessons schedule and pool hours for the upcoming 2017 season. Sign up for swim lessons at City Hall from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. 280 North Third Avenue.

 

Tuesday Evenings – Oakdale Community Band Rehearsals – 6:30 p.m. Pick up your instrument, dust it off and get ready to play! There are no auditions for this band, come on down to the Senior Center Tuesday nights to rehearse. Fee $10 per year. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.

Save the Date – Friday, June 9th – 16th Annual Senior Information Day – 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Free Event. Information tables, free health screenings and door prizes. No ticket required. There will be free transportation provided by StART from the Senior Center to the Community Center. Co-sponsored by the City of Oakdale and Oak Valley Hospital District. Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 South Second Avenue.

 

Monday, April 3rd – Veteran’s Get Together – 1:00 p.m. This is a time for Veterans to come together to discuss Veteran’s benefits, share your concerns and for support. For more information contact Stan MacArthur at 542-7055 Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.

 

Monday Afternoons – Alzheimer/Dementia Educational and Support Group 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.

 

 

Tuesday and Thursday Mornings – Young at Heart Aerobics Class 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is an active class that helps to strengthen the heart and lungs, improve endurance, flexibility and strength. Start your new year right by coming to the class and having fun. Gladys Lemmons Senior Community Center, 450 East A Street.
