Saturday Spring Fest, Safety Day Set

It’s time for the annual Kiwanis Club of Oakdale and City of Oakdale Kids Spring Fest and Safety Day, set for Saturday, March 30.

This seventh annual fest starts at 10 a.m. and runs through 1 p.m. at Kerr Park, at the end of North Stearns Road east of Oakdale.

Part of the festivities will include the annual Easter Egg Hunt, with ages birth to two starting the hunt at 10:30 a.m.; ages 3 to 5 at 10:54 a.m.; 6 to 8 starting at 11:10 a.m. and ages 9 to 12 hunting at 11:30 a.m.

There will be free hot dogs starting at noon and throughout the day there will be games, a DJ, children’s fingerprinting, face painting and booths with safety information.

Drawings for various prizes will begin at 12:30 p.m.
