Stampede Goes 2-1 In Weekend At The Corral The Oakdale Stampede youth football and cheer program went 2-1 in three recorded contests at home on Saturday.The Rookies, competing with no tallied scores, delivered a dominant performance from the youngest division with all players rotating in. Brayden Abell, Javyn Drobnick, Jayden Powers and a few others managed big rushes up the field in the wake of Christopher Kjeldgaard and an impressive offensive line.

Athlete Of The Week - Lane Trapp Under-13 Oakdale United soccer standout Lane Trapp was at his best at the Shamrock Invitational earlier this month, netting three goals in a huge 5-2 pounding of NorCal Elite for a tournament title. Trapp, who also scored twice in a big 4-0 drubbing of host Dublin, earns Athlete of the Week honor for his efforts.
