Ready to help out in these tough economic times, The Oakdale Leader will serve as a host location for the popular ‘Good Day Sacramento’ program on CW31, Cable Channel 12, for a segment of the program on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

A crew from the television station will be on site at The Leader office the morning of Sept. 9, with local residents able to come in and meet with station personnel to be taped for the popular video résumé program. Résumés will then be posted to gooddaysacramento.com/jobcenter.

Those wishing to attend should come in prepared to be videotaped, as the appearance will serve as your new résumé for potential employers.

The Good Day Sacramento program starts airing at 4:30 a.m. and while the office won’t be open quite that early for residents to stop by for the video taping, check out The Leader website for additional details later this week.

There will be some ‘live’ reports aired from The Leader office, featuring staff members talking with the Good Day Sacramento personalities.

The program has made stops throughout the Valley in its video résumé program and The Leader contacted station officials about assisting with the potential job-finding opportunity for local residents.

The Leader office is at 122 So. Third Ave.
