Board member Ralph Damante hauled two donated 21 foot, five inch diameter metal pipes to the ...

What a surprise and delight to wake up on Tuesday morning and discover a light blanket of snow on the ground here in Valley Home! Running late for an appointment in Oakdale, your reporter couldn't stop to snap a photo, however on returning home we were delighted to find it had not all melted during our absence and were able to still capture some of it on film. No long drive to the mountains to enjoy a snow scene, just a walk outside the back door!

It is always nice to share Holiday visits enjoyed by our Valley Home residents. Hazel Rushman and family members enjoyed a combined Thanksgiving dinner and birthday party at her granddaughter Stacy and husband Tom Murphy's home in Delhi. Hazel's twin great, great granddaughters, Rylee Brooke-Lynn and Madison Elizabeth Murphy celebrated their first birthday. The birthday cake was frosted in pink and purple, with a candle placed for each twin. Each twin had a small cake to eat in their highchairs, and they had fun eating it. It was cute to watch the twins enjoy their cake, but what ...

There were lots of happy smiles to be seen on the faces of those attending the PTC sponsored Harvest Festival held at the Valley Home School Pioneer Ave campus on Saturday evening. The parking lot at the school featured a 4-H Petting Zoo and lots of fun activity booths manned by the students. Inside the multipurpose room were tables decorated with fall foliage where family members could sit and enjoy delicious food and soft drinks. A Memorial service was held on October 7th at the River Oak Church in Oakdale for Ed Tribby. Ed actively served the Oakdale community as an Equipment Operator for Oakdale City Public Works. He spent countless hours helping his Valley Home friends and neighbors, and his church develop and build construction projects locally. Ed was involved in work to save the old Valley Home Community Center, and when that could not be accomplished, he chaired the committee to establish a park on the ground where the old Clubhouse once stood. Ed supervised the work in the construction of the picnic ...
