With vacations and summer getaways in full force, it is important that we are aware of any suspicious activity within our community. Our Valley Home community is very well protected, because neighbors have always looked out for each other! If you do notice something that doesn't seem right, be sure to call our neighborhood watch captain, Ryan Cope. Ryan can be reached by email at or by phone at 209-840-1306.

We have sad news this week in Valley Home. Richard Mullins, husband of Winnie, passed away suddenly on Saturday afternoon at their home. He was a strong, quiet man with a great sense of humor who loved and cared for his family. The family wants to thank all those who helped: ditch tenders, paramedics, firefighters and sheriff. Richard will be sorely missed.

For my family the holiday held many blessings. Strong family ties, including friends that care and share those family ties. Although this Easter had some bittersweet moments throughout the day, those family ties were strong and together we enjoyed a truly blessed Easter Day.
