We received word from Tammie Smith that our Valley Home 4-H'ers are currently all busy getting ready for the Stanislaus County Fair. Tammie reminds us that with the ending of the Oakdale Junior Livestock Boosters which helped purchase the market animals, many kids are without buyers for their animals at the Fair, this year. If anyone is interested in buying an animal or helping a 4H'er they should contact Tammie at 604-6942.

The familiar strains of Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance filled the air on May 23, 2011 as the Valley Home eighth grade students made their entrance into the School Multipurpose Room for their Graduation Ceremony. Judah Burton, Nathan Soares and Luis Penaloza joined in rendering the Pledge of Allegiance. Principal Kevin Hart welcomed parents and members of the audience to the ceremony.
