The birthday cake was frosted in pink and purple, with a candle placed for each twin. Each twin had a small cake to eat in their highchairs, and they had fun eating it. It was cute to watch the twins enjoy their cake, but what ...

A Memorial service was held on October 7th at the River Oak Church in Oakdale for Ed Tribby. Ed actively served the Oakdale community as an Equipment Operator for Oakdale City Public Works. He spent countless hours helping his Valley Home friends and neighbors, and his church develop and build construction projects locally. Ed was involved in work to save the old Valley Home Community Center, and when that could not be accomplished, he chaired the committee to establish a park on the ground where the old Clubhouse once stood. Ed supervised the work in the construction of the picnic ...

Cost Less Market ... What a spectacular trip it is from Valley Home to go grocery shopping. Taking the time to appreciate this trip is something that I have learned to make a priority. Where else can you drive five minutes to go grocery shopping and pass almond orchards with beautiful blossoms, go past Bushwacker's home, watch cattle and horses grazing on lush green pastures, then at the edge of town and right before shopping, pass over the most spectacular bridge! Crossing this beautiful gateway bridge offers you a moment to reflect. Many thousands use this strong and steady passage ...

Another year has gone by and for many of us 2014 brought changes good and bad into our lives. For some the joy and happiness of a wonderful event, for others the past year brought sorrow and heartbreaking sadness. Over the years I've come to realize that there are definitely "seasons" throughout our lives. It has taken me a lifetime to understand that truly my life has had many different seasons. I look back on the season of my youth, of marriage and family, softball, football, cheerleading, rodeo events, our family would also see family and friends off to ...
