Let's hear a resounding applause for two of our Valley Home young people, who received the Most Valuable Players Award in Basketball. They are Amanda Kerns and Dillon Arenebeck. Amanda is on the Girls 8th Grade A Team and Dillon played on the 7th Grade Boys A Team. Congratulations to both young people on the accomplishments, Valley Home is proud of you!
Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade all enjoyed field trips this past week. Previously, 5th-8th grade traveled to San Francisco to visit the Planetarium in Golden Gate Park. The field trips were funded by our Valley Home PTC through their fundraising efforts with See's Candy and Gold Canyon Candle sales. A big Thank You to our parents and community for your support to make these extra enrichment activities possible.

We have received word from Sharon Hofmann that St. John's Lutheran Church here in Valley Home is preparing to host their Seventh Annual Silent Movie, on Sunday, June 3 at 3 p.m.

John was very active in our community and farm organizations and was the recipient of many awards for his services. He had a long time involvement with the Farm Bureau.
