The death of Raul Arellano (Jr.) is indeed a tragedy for his family and friends. I have been a health care provider for over 30 years and have been in similar circumstances such as the one you described in your August 12 article. However the article did not include any mention of the impact his death has on those who tried so valiantly to save his life. The description in the article reveals that Raul was already in serious shock when he went to the Emergency Department. When the body is in severe shock, peripheral blood vessels "shutdown ...
This letter is written with the deepest regret and sorrow about having to even pen these words, let alone imagining the situation as it unfolded at OVH on the night of Raul Arellano Jr.'s death. He was the 12-year-old boy who suddenly died from complications of a bicycle fall. His senseless and tragic death was only compounded by OVH's uncompassionate treatment to the mother of this deceased boy.
Is it a steadfast hospital rule to not allow both parents of a young child to be with him when most needed? For she was not allowed to ...
Since Pelosi and her clan, Obama and his Tax Cheats, crooks and Cronies have turn this country up side down through bail outs. Will Obama become the next Hugo Chaves or Hitler regime to exterminate the elderly and children with serious illness. HR-3200 Sec. 1233 dictates to physicians, Democrats say it's not true.
Advance care planning consultation, the government will dictate what physicians are to look for and report to the secretary.
Part B says an advance care planning consultation with respect to an individual may be conducted more frequently than provided (every 5 years).
I, Bobby E. Goad, was denied to ask three questions by OID President Jack Alpers (Aug. 4, 2009 OID board meeting). Jack Alpers said he would throw me out, after I disagreed with him.
If he had asked me to leave, I would have, but would have found out the legal part later.
I did leave.
If a subject is to be spoken about and Jack Alpers squashes it by not allowing questions and statements by some individuals, the OID board will likely let things pass that would not pass if OID board members knew the whole story ...
I want to thank Oakdale Recycle Center for being so honest the other day. I decided to clean up around the ranch as I do two or three times a year. I gathered up all the recyclable stuff and took it to the Oakdale Recycle Center on my way to Oakdale. While I was checking out to get the money I was having a conversation with the clerk while she was guiding a truck on the scale and adding up my tags. She finally got the truck on the way and gave me my money. A few days ...
The Oakdale Police Officer's Association would like to thank the citizens of Oakdale for all their support this year as we faced the tough economic times together. We were faced with layoffs (8) that would have seriously affected the safety of you and your family. The Oakdale Police Officer Association chose to take the following concessions in order to preserve the level of safety you deserve.
1) Switching to a new medical insurance provider, which saved approximately 5 percent or $80,000.
2) Agreed to take 12 furlough days saving approximately $102,220.
I would like to thank the EAA Young Eagles for their free flight day on a recent Saturday. My son, and several of his Cub Scout buddies, were warmly welcomed and taken on flights by caring aviators at the Oakdale airport.
I am very appreciative to this group for their time and expense. They answered lots of questions and even fed us! So when the next free flight day comes, please take the time to go and check it out.
