Dawn’s Column - Overcommitted, Under ‘Fun’ded

Over the past few weeks I've felt especially overwhelmed by my amount of "busy-ness." I deal with bouts of this at different times throughout the year. Work commitments requiring longer hours and late nights as well as home commitments with important business to tend to, evening appointments, and events have left me feeling a little burnt out. A few weeks ago Disneyland appeared to be Ground Zero for a measles outbreak that led to 17 identified cases in the US. Since then, at last count, there are now over 120 confirmed cases of measles in the country, possibly due to "satellite" outbreaks as those persons returned home from "The Happiest Place on Earth."
