The Oakdale Stampede Pee Wee team walked away with a one-point victory a week ago and the squad followed up the win with another one point win over the Merced Cougars 13-12.

Slim Win For Pee Wee Stampede Squad

The Buhach Thunder showed up to the Corral ready to play and pulled out a couple of victories over the Oakdale Stampede organization, but the Pee Wee level fought off the clean sweep with a 13-12 win over the visitors.

Trio Of Stampede Squads Roll By Hilmar

The Oakdale Stampede got the production they were looking for as all three levels of competitive action rolled to victory in their regular season home opener. The pee-wee team put together a pristine effort, smashing Hilmar 41-0, while the JV and varsity squads did themselves justice with 22-6 and 7-6 victories, respectively.

The Oakdale based Cen-Cal 11-year-old baseball team made the long trek to Sunnyvale outside of San Jose and returned with runner-up honors in the Twin Creeks Tournament Aug. 29 and 30.

Former Oakdale High football players and coaches will be hosting a kick off reunion for the upcoming 2009 season, gathering Oakdale football alumni together for a huge tailgate party.

Stampede Cheerleaders Rock At Recent Jamz Cheer Camp

The Oakdale Stampede cheerleaders took the final couple days out of the end of their summer vacation to participate in the JAMZ Cheer Camp when the national camp made its stop at Stanislaus State on Aug. 8 and 9.
The girls took full advantage of the nationally recognized camp, fine tuning their craft before the season opening Round Robin Tournament the organization will be hosting Aug. 22 at the Corral.

First Running Of Gridiron Golf Tournament Goes Off Smoothly

Everything that needed to fall into place fell into its appropriate spot as the first ever Gridiron Greats Golf Tournament went off without a hiccup Aug. 3 at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club.

Oakdale Squads Solid At Junior Olympics

It's one thing to put together a lengthy run amongst the best teams in Northern California, but it is a completely different scenario when the battle is being staged against the best teams in the entire nation.
The Oakdale Water Polo program did themselves and the entire community proud with an impressive run during the USA Water Polo sponsored Junior Olympics in the Stanford Bay Area July 30 – Aug. 2.

Stampede Preparing For 2009 Youth Football Schedule

Looking to improve on past success in the Cen-Cal League, the Oakdale Stampede organization will not be taking any shortcuts in its pursuit for a shot at the title at all levels of youth football this season.
The Stampede has kicked off the 2009 campaign with opening workouts on the practice field, preparing for their upcoming preseason scrimmage against the Waterford Sabercats.

Swimmers Take Final Laps Of Season

Eleven of Oakdale's finest competed in the 2015 CIF Section qualifier swim meet recently, bringing their season to an end. Swimmers, fans and family gathered at the pool at Tokay High School in Lodi over the two-day meet to cheer on their teams. Four women and seven men represented Oakdale for the right to advance to the State meet. Oakdale turned in great performances but none of the 11 hopefuls punched their ticket to state.

Soccer Girls Ousted By Eventual Champion

Oakdale faced off against a familiar foe in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division III playoff semifinals when the fourth seeded Lady Mustangs took on the top seeded East Union Lady Lancers. Like everyone else in the Valley Oak League, Oakdale fell to East Union twice during the regular season, and the playoff outcome was no different as Oakdale lost a tough contest, 3-1 on Wednesday, May 13 at East Union, ending the season for the Lady Mustangs. East Union went on to defeat VOL foe Manteca 2-0 in the Section final on Saturday, May 16.

No Section Title Repeat For Varsity Softball Girls

The hopes of repeating as CIF Section champions came to a screeching halt when the Oakdale Lady Mustangs fell to Cordova on Tuesday night, May 12. Oakdale came out on the short end of a 6-1 score at the Sacramento Softball Complex in Sacramento to the Lancers.

VOL Championship Run For Track, Field Girls

Oakdale hosted Manteca in the regular season track and field finale on Tuesday, May 5 at The Corral. The varsity girls entered the day winners of 78 consecutive dual meets, and with a chance to win their 11th Valley Oak League title in a row. In front of the home crowd, the girls accomplished this feat with a convincing 93-43 victory over the Buffaloes.

Varsity Softball Lady Mustangs Fall In Extra Innings

A much anticipated regular season finale against undefeated East Union lived up to the hype on Wednesday evening, May 6. Oakdale traveled to Manteca to clash with the first place Lady Lancers for a share of the Valley Oak League title. The stage was set, a rematch from last year's CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championship game, in which Oakdale won, and a rematch from this year's season opener in which East Union prevailed on Oakdale's home field.
