Fifty Oakdale Swimmers Take On USA Swim Meet

The year-round Oakdale Swim Team recently took fifty swimmers to a USA Swim meet at Roseville's October meet, which drew an attendance of over nine-hundred swimmers. Oakdale Swim Team coaches were happy to see personal bests across the board from beginning swimmer to experienced senior group swimmers. The local athletes achieved multiple Junior Olypmic, Far Western, and IMX qualifying time standards.

Riverbank Basketball Camp Begins Oct. 13

A boys and girls youth basketball camp sponsored by Riverbank High's girls basketball club begins on Saturday, Oct. 13 with a fee of only $25 for four hours of instruction by college and high school coaches and athletes. The camp will be held at the spacious Ray Fauria gymnasium and be available for grades second to eighth. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to noon (grades 2-5) and then 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (grades 6-8).
