It has been a dry, hot, yet somehow short season for the Oakdale Swim Team and its season will come to a head during the league championships at Pitman High on Saturday, July 25 in Turlock.

The Good Vibrations Motorsports 56th annual March Meet, at the famed AAA of Southern California/Famoso Raceway, represents the first seasonal event of the NHRA Heritage Series. The results in Funny Car also count toward the Bakersfield/Boise Blitz challenge. The weather was perfect and brought out near record crowds each of the three days.
Weather conditions for the 31st annual Carquest Auto Parts NHRA Nationals at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park near Phoenix, Arizona was comfortable and partly cloudy, producing some great on track performances. The conditions also brought out a near capacity crowd over the entire three days of racing.
Competing in the United States Polo Association (USPA) Interscholastic Girls (seventh grade – 12th grade) division, Oakdale took third place overall at the Western Regional Tournament at Central Coast Polo Club in Los Osos, California.
