Mustang Varsity Soccer Ties Weston Ranch

In a week where Oakdale High School's varsity boys soccer team was supposed to have two games, their schedule was reduced to one. Thanks to heavy rain on Monday, Jan. 8 the team's Valley Oak League showdown against Lathrop was postponed. The game is scheduled to be made up on Friday, Jan. 19 at 5:15 p.m. Two days later the varsity team traveled to Stockton to take on Weston Ranch.

Price Hike At Pumps

Average retail gasoline prices in Modesto have risen 1.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.91/gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 201 gas outlets in Modesto. This compares with the national average that has increased 0.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.48/gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
