Policy Research Center Study Sees Strengthening Economy

The California economy will maintain strong growth despite soft U.S. economic growth and a deepening drought, according to the latest projection from the Center for Business and Policy Research at the University of the Pacific. Water flowing from beneath a roll-up door of a warehouse on Ackley Circle led police to the discovery of 136 marijuana plants and a sophisticated grow operation.
