Soroptimists Set To Offer Dream It, Be It Conference

Local service organization Soroptimist International of Oakdale is sponsoring a "Dream It, Be It" conference for seventh through ninth grade girls who attend Oakdale, Valley Home, and Knights Ferry schools or reside in these areas. ASTRO Offers October Kitten Adoption Special

The ASTRO (Animal Shelter To Riverbank & Oakdale) Foundation has an abundance of over 100 kittens and cats that are currently available for adoption. The majority were rescued from the City of Oakdale Animal Shelter which is just too small to handle the number of felines that it receives. With the hard work of the ASTRO Foundation's volunteers, there is hope for these kitties.
