Modesto Junior College Presents Screening Of Resilience Documentary

The Modesto Junior College Civic Engagement Project (CEP) invites the community to a screening of the documentary film 'Resilience' on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in Forum 110 on East Campus, 435 College Ave., Modesto. The free event is part of the CEP Spring Film and Lecture Series. Campus parking is available for $2 in student parking lots.

Square Dance Workshop Set

Calling all square dancers: Even if you haven't danced in some time, all are welcome to come and visit the Skirts 'n Flirts group for fun, exercise and friendships. Learn to square dance at the workshops each Wednesday, corner of F Street and Lambuth Avenue in Oakdale. Singles, couples, children ages 8 and up all welcome. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children and dancing runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Program Honors Students Succeeding Despite Challenges

For the 12th consecutive year, the Stanislaus Association of School Administrators (ACSA) Charter, along with the Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE), Mocse Credit Union and E. & J. Woman Facing Child Cruelty, Drug Charges

An Oakdale woman remains jailed on $50,000 bail after a trip to the emergency room on Wednesday, Feb. 15 resulted in her arrest. Tenessa Michelle Price, 28, of Oakdale was arrested after her one-year-old son was believed to have methamphetamine in system.
