Spooky Trekkers Walk

The Delta Tule Trekkers are hosting a fun "Spooky Walk" at Caswell Memorial State Park, 28000 Austin Road, Ripon, this coming Halloween weekend. Walks will be offered both Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30. Families and individual walkers are invited to join the group on either a 5k or 10k walk through the wonderful oak woodlands at the park. The Trekkers are affiliated with the American Volkssport Association and offer non-competitive walks. Starting period is from 8 a.m. to noon with a barbeque at noon planned for both days. MJC Opens San Joaquin Blues Production On Stage This Week

The Modesto Junior College Theater Department presents San Joaquin Blues, an award winning original play about life in the mid-1960's in the Central Valley of California. The play was written by and is being directed by MJC theater professor Michael Lynch, with original music composed by Steve Sigel.

Homecoming Powder Puff Battle Ends In Tie

The annual Homecoming week Juniors vs. Seniors powder puff flag football game took place on Wednesday, Oct. 12. Thousands of fans gathered to watch the game at The Corral and were not disappointed in the action. Last season the seniors defeated the juniors 33-0 and last year's juniors – now seniors – did not want to lose again.
