Investigation Begins Into Saturday Plane Crash

National Transportation Safety Board, NTSB, and Federal Aviation Administration, FAA, personnel will be conducting the investigation into the cause of a single engine aircraft crash that claimed the life of the pilot on Saturday morning, March 11.

American AgCredit Outlines 2016 Strong Financial Growth

American AgCredit, the nation's fifth largest agricultural lending cooperative, this week announced a net income of $104.5 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2016, along with a cash dividend distribution of $50.2 million to its shareholders. This compares to a net income of $99.7 million and a cash dividend of $43.5 million for the prior year. American AgCredit has returned more than $350 million to its customer-owners since 2005.

A seasonal sight, the Girls Scouts are now out and about selling their tasty, traditional Girl Scout cookies this spring. OHS Earns Regional Science Olympiad Win

A total of 20 teams from 15 county high schools competed on Saturday, March 4 at the 2017 Stanislaus County Regional Science Olympiad and Oakdale was among those rising to the top. Oakdale High School Gold Team came home Division C Champions. The OHS Gold Team will now advance to the Northern California (NorCal) Science Olympiad event scheduled for Saturday, April 1 at CSU Stanislaus.
