OPERATION WARMTH

Oakdale High School Leadership and Central Catholic's Leadership Class team members have once again teamed up for "Operation Warmth." During the week of Oct. 30 through Nov. 3 the two schools will collect socks, gloves and/or mittens, beanies, scarves, disposable hand warmers and miscellaneous winter clothing to distribute to those in need and the homeless. Community members may make donations at OHS or to a donation box at the Oakdale/Central Catholic football game at Central, Nov. 3.

State Transportation Commission Promoting Healthy Communities

The California Transportation Commission approved a significant investment in the health of communities and their residents, committing $117 million to 63 Active Transportation Projects (ATP) across the state with a combined value of more than $180 million.
