Parents, students and community members alike took advantage of a perfect spring evening recently by attending the Cloverland Elementary School's Annual Family Fun Night. The Parent Teacher Club-sponsored event hosted a number of family friendly activities including a train ride, face painting, games and food. Fair Oaks had planned an event as well, but had to postpone due to the unseasonable rain on Friday.

Berryhill Confirmed To Rules Committee

Senator Tom Berryhill (R-Twain Harte) has been elected by his colleagues to the five-member Senate Rules Committee. The Rules Committee is considered one of the most influential assignments in the Senate, and as such, selection to it must be confirmed by the entire Senate. Berryhill represents Oakdale in the state's 8th Senate District.

Fred Yerzy and Rachel Torres took a little time away from the classroom in mid-April. The break, however, was not the traditional Spring Break enjoyed districtwide.
