Oakdale High School science teacher Cameron Nickerson and French teacher Jessica Lawrence have taken up a cause for student safety. A 16-year-old girl sustained major injuries Monday evening, Nov. 9 when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing near the intersection of F Street and Bryan Avenue.
