Disney’s “Cinderella, Kids”

The Stanislaus County Office of Education's YES (Youth Entertainment Stage) Kidettes will present Disney's "Cinderella, Kids" beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 at the Gallo Center for the Arts (1000 I St., Modesto). Two additional matinee performances are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m.

Weekend Ferry Festival Celebrates Chinook Salmon

Come November, the view from the Knights Ferry Bridge is sure to include Chinook salmon during the peak of their migration. It is this time of year that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District, FISHBIO, and other local partners come together to celebrate the annual Stanislaus River Salmon Festival. The sixth annual event will be held in Knights Ferry at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Stanislaus River Park on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

California Awarded Health Insurance Enforcement Grant

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded approximately $1,844,585 to California to use for enforcement and oversight of issuer compliance with select Affordable Care Act (ACA) key consumer protections.
