California Awarded Health Insurance Enforcement Grant

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded approximately $1,844,585 to California to use for enforcement and oversight of issuer compliance with select Affordable Care Act (ACA) key consumer protections. In total, CMS awarded approximately $25.5 million to 22 states and the District of Columbia. Everybody Loves A (Halloween) Parade

It was the traditional Halloween Parade and Festival for Oakdale on Monday, Oct. 31 as the city, in cooperation with the Oakdale Kiwanis Club and several other community and business supporters, put on the festivities. Along with a parade along G Street, there was food, games, music, candy and fun for the young trick-or-treaters in the early afternoon, before they hit the streets to go door-to-door for some more sweet treats. Oakdale High School band members as well as the color guard maintained the tradition of leading the way for ghouls, goblins, super heroes and princesses alike during the Annual Halloween Parade and Festival on Monday evening, Oct. 31.
