Water Plan Finalized

With California water regulators having voted to approve fines up to $500 a day for residents who waste water on lawns, landscaping and car washing, the City of Oakdale must now come up with a conservation plan for its residents and 7,000 water customers.

Breaking Bread, Breaking Ground

No Felony Charge For Death Of Off-Duty Officer

After the end of a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, May 20, Stanislaus Superior Court Judge Ricardo Cordova determined there was not enough evidence for Jose Hermosillo to stand trial for a felony count of manslaughter in the November 2012 death of off-duty Oakdale Police Officer Paul Katuszonek.
