Pilot Pot Program Second Session Set

Due to the large number of inquiries from parties interested in submitting a Cannabis Pilot Program proposal but unable to attend the mandatory pre-submittal conference on Tuesday, May 30, Oakdale city officials have decided to host a second pre-submittal conference. The second pre-submittal conference will be held on Wednesday, June 14 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale. All other terms of the RFQ remain unchanged.

Annual Information Day Benefits Area Seniors

For the past 16 years the City of Oakdale and the Oak Valley Hospital District (OVHD) have been bringing the community together, providing the annual Oakdale Senior Information Day. The event was staged on Friday, June 9 at the Gene Bianchi Community Center. With over 30 vendors set up with information, snacks, and a variety of free giveaways, the resources brought forth were beneficial to all guests, whether or not they were senior citizens.

Gas Prices Drop Down

Average retail gasoline prices in Modesto have fallen 7.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.93/gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 201 gas outlets in Modesto. This compares with the national average that has fallen 4.0 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.33/gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
