A lot of anglers make fishing too complicated. To me, this explains how someone with limited experience and skill can catch fish on days where others are struggling to get a bite. I took a walk in the woods along the Stanislaus River the other day and ran into a small flock of wild turkeys. I have been spotting turkeys there as well as seeing them in the foothills on both sides of the Central Valley for about 20 years and wondered how widespread they were. In checking both online and with experts at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, I have determined that turkeys are actually quite plentiful in the golden state.

Having to earn the respect of his upperclassmen teammates and a first year head coach in Nate Gregory, Kirk wasted little time and made a major impact on the team. Fast forward to today and Kirk is still the signal caller behind the plate on the varsity team as he will enter his final season as a Mustang next spring.
