Harlan, Garcia Pin Down Second Place Wrestling Honors

Six Mustang wrestlers earned the right to make the trip to Bakersfield this past weekend to compete in the 2017 CIF California High School State Championships. Of the six, four of them placed in the top eight, including junior Colbey Harlan and senior Abel Garcia, who both placed second in their respective weight classes.

Two Shutout Wins For Softball Squad

Two games, two wins this week for the varsity Oakdale Lady Mustangs softball team. Oakdale defeated the defending Sac-Joaquin Section Champion Ceres Bulldogs on Tuesday, Feb. 28 by a 4-0 final and went on the road and knocked off Gregori 4-0 on Thursday, March 2.

Varsity Baseball Takes Two Of Three In Non-League Play

History Repeats Itself At NHRA Arizona Nationals

The 33rd annual NHRA Arizona Nationals, held at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, was nearly a mirror image of the season opener in Pomona, California in mid-February. Hardwood Hardware Handed Out For Lady Mustangs

The 2016-2017 Oakdale Lady Mustangs basketball season has come to a close and members of the team were recently recognized for their accomplishments. On Tuesday night, Feb. 21 parents and fans alike gathered inside the Oakdale High School main gym for the end of the year banquet and awards ceremony in honor of all three Lady Mustangs basketball clubs.

Six Mustang Wrestlers Qualify For State Meet

For six Oakdale Mustangs, the journey continues. A year's work of weight lifting, making weight, and endless practices in the misty Oakdale wrestling room paid off for half a dozen grapplers. Ricky Torres (132), Jake Ryan (145), Gabe Martinez (152), Bronson Harmon (160), Abel Garcia (170), and Colbey Harlan (182) all qualified for the upcoming CIF California State Championship Meet starting Friday, March 3 at Bakersfield.

Varsity Soccer Mustangs Bow Out In Second Round

Oakdale's soccer season has officially came to an end following a 2-1 second round loss to third ranked Lincoln of Lincoln on Thursday night, Feb. 23. Two nights prior to the season ending defeat, the sixth seeded Mustangs defeated 11th seeded Patterson 2-0 in the first round of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Division III Section Championships inside The Corral.

Varsity, JV Baseball Teams Take Victories Over Merced

The calendar may say it is still winter, but Oakdale baseball is back in the swing of things. On Friday, Feb. 24 Oakdale hosted Merced and won in convincing fashion, 9-0, in their first non-league game of the 2017 season.
