Athlete Of The Week - Brennon Williams

Oakdale High ace Brennon Williams has been spectacular on the Valley Oak League baseball mound in his last two starts for the varsity Mustangs. On April 13 he went five innings with nine strikeouts and only two hits allowed in a 12-1 blowout of Sierra. A week later he struck out six in seven full innings with just two walks and four hits allowed in a 6-0 shutout over former VOL leader, Manteca. He was also 2 for 3 with a triple and five RBIs, scoring or knocking in each Oakdale tally in the victory over the Buffaloes.

Swim Spectacle - Relay Heroes Give Mustangs Dual Titles

After trailing fellow unbeaten, Sonora High, for most of Thursday's home meet, Oakdale's 400-yard freestyle girls relay teams needed to bite into a big score during the day's final event if the Lady Mustangs were to claim a piece of the Valley Oak League pie.

Saturday Scrimmage Paves Way For Season Opener

Hackbarth, Sanders Named To All State Team

Oakdale High School varsity softball teammates Lauren Sanders and Kindra Hackbarth were named to the Calhisports.com All-State Medium/Small School Softball Team for 2014. Sanders, who graduated from OHS in May and will continue to play softball for San Diego State, was named to the first team for her ability behind the dish as she was named to the top five catchers list. Hackbarth was named to the Second Team for both her glove and cannon of an arm in the outfield. Hackbarth will be entering her junior year, was one of only two sophomores to make the list ...
